The Prahran Market on Commercial Road is one of Melbourne's fresh produce markets, a favourite with locals and a must for tourists.

It has existed for over 100 years and has a great variety of stalls and shops offering fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish, deli foods, cafes, variety shops, and clothing.

The market also features a couryard which is accesible through the market or from Commercial Rd. The food court offers, a range of popular eateries, little cafe's, takeaways and a few retail outlets.

The Prahran Market is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from dawn to 6 p.m.
